There's no link to pay by card. I do not have a PayPal account, how can I pay?
You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay. You can also pay by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Simply click on pay by PayPal button and then click on 'Pay by Debit or Credit Card'.
I paid for the course but the system does not let me proceed beyond the free preview lessons. What should I do?
If you are not able to access the full course after registration, please log out of your account and log in again. If the problem persists, try to clear cache on your browser or use an alternative browser.
I forgot my password and have not received a password rest link
If you do not receive a link to reset your password. please check your spam folder and if no password reset email has arrived please try to reset again in 15 minutes.

How do can I access the documents listed in the study guide?
Nearly all the documents listed in the study guide are available free of charge online. Details of additional resources such as Prof Yarik Kryvoi's book on ICSID, are also provided to allow students to look deeper into the study topics.
Is it possible to watch the course videos multiple times?
Yes, you can watch videos as many times as you need. In addition many of the course materials are downloadable.
YouTube is sometimes inaccessible in my country. What is the platform through which the educational material will be available to students?
Only the promotional video for the course is hosted on YouTube, all the course sessions, including videos, are hosted on the Thinkfic platform.
Can course participants ask the course tutors questions directly via email?
Automatic feedback is integrated in this course so there is no need for individual supervision or guidance. It is enough to focus only on the videos and the key legal documents mentioned in the study guide to successfully answer all questions of the exercises and the final assessment. If you would to go deeper into the issues discussed please refer to the literature mentioned in the study guide or get in touch to arrange additional training sessions
When does the course start? I am currently very busy with something else. Is there the possibility to postpone watching the weekly videos and the final exam?
This is an asynchronous course, which means you can start and complete it when it is convenient for you. You can either complete the course within a week working on it full-time or spread it over several weeks or even months. You determine your own pace of study.
How will I receive my certificate at the end of the course?
Upon completion of all course requirements, you will be able to download your certificate from the course web site. If you have difficulties with the course platform, please contact our platform partner Thinkific.
I am a BIICL member. Where can I find my discount code?
If you are an individual member of BIICL, please contact the Events team, and they will provide you with a 20% discount coupon for the course fee. Please note that this code is different from the one available in your BIICL user account.
Are there any group discounts available?
Yes. The following group discounts are available:
- 20% discount for groups of 3 or more attendees from NGO organisations or staff of government
- 20% discount for groups of 5 or more attendees from commercial organisations.

How do I apply for a scholarship?
We are delighted to be able to offer scholarships designed to enable individuals from communities currently under-represented in the legal field to access our world-class courses and benefit from unparalleled learning experiences.
Scholarships are aimed at 3 categories: individuals from communities and backgrounds that are under-represented in the legal field in the UK and abroad; individuals who have recently received a needs-based bursary from their university or further-education college and representatives from Small Charities, NGOs, and Community-Based Organisations.
