Our London headquarters 

Our new London headquarters serve to bring the members of legal world and other interested and influential people, with whom we already work so closely, right into the heart of the Institute.

BIICL's location in central London allows us to engage with our key stakeholders from around the world. We organise more than 70 seminars, conferences, panels and rapid response briefings each year, directly benefitting around 4,500 attendees. Our events attract eminent and expert speakers, and participants, from today's legal and business worlds, governments and international organisations.

Our offices are located over two floors of a Grade II* listed building constructed in 1976, overlooking Russell Square.

One of the primary objectives of the BIICL 60+ Appeal was to completely remodel, modernise and improve the facilities at the Institute's office, and build an events space. 

After a programme of works that began in 2019, the office and conferencing facilities at Charles Clore House have been upgraded with the installation of new services, secondary glazing, improved sound reduction and air circulation. We now have fantastic work areas, high quality events facilities, and new audio visual technology to facilitate remote attendance at our events. 

As a result of prudent financial management, we were able to draw down funds from our reserves to contribute to these costs, leaving approximately £1 million to be raised through the BIICL 60+ Appeal.
