National Rapporteur for the Philippines
Professor Michael TIU is an Assistant Professor of the University of the Philippines College of Law. He is also a consultant on matters involving international human rights standards and he is a member of the Philippine Working Group on Business and Human Rights.
Professor Tiu will lead and coordinate the research for the Philippines.
Franco LOPEZ is a JD candidate at the University of the Philippines College of Law and is the Research Assistant of Professor Michael Tiu. Franco assists Professor Tiu in his research on international human rights standards and its application to the Philippine legal framework.
Franco will contribute to the research and help to produce the final report for the Philippines.
