Date: 17 October 2023

Time: 17.30 - 19.00 (UK Time)

Venue: Online

Webinar Details

US vs Google had been hailed "the Trial of the Century": Google meeting the force of US federal and State prosecutors for the first time. It should have been on a par with the Microsoft "show trial" of 1999, which received huge media attention. At stake is the future of internet search, on which we all depend. Yet the trial has barely registered on the news after the opening day, falling entirely out of sight in Europe. What did happen? We discuss what main themes have emerged half way through, as evidence and witness examination unfold, with expert in-person observers in the court room.

At this rapid response webinar, Cristina Caffarra will be speaking with Megan Gray, Jason Kint and Leah Nylen , who have been following the case on the ground, about the latest developments in the case.
