The Framework of Judicial Cooperation after Brexit - Civil and Commercial Matters

This research topic relates to post Brexit perspectives of judicial cooperation in a wider Europe. It assesses the legislative gap following the UK's exit from civil justice cooperation and potential ways to fill it in order to ensure an efficient cross-border enforcement of judgments. This includes a discussion of the Lugano and 2005 Hague Convention regimes as well as the new Hague Judgments Convention which has now been adopted.
