Sir Jeffrey Jowell QC speaks on the Rule of Law at the Global Law Summit

The Bingham Centre's Director this week addressed the Global Law Summit in London. His paper, 'The Global Economy and the Rule of Law' examined how respect for the elements of the rule of law - legality, optimum certainty, equality and access to justice and rights - is important for economic development. The paper was part of a session hosted by the Centre with the Chief Justice of Hong Kong, The Hon Geoffrey Ma, Lord Mandelson from the UK, Justice Catherine O'Regan from South Africa, and Harish Salve SA from India
