The purpose of this event is to explore the contribution of domestic courts in delivering justice for international crimes committed on the African continent; balance the existing focus on the International Criminal Court in debates about accountability for international crimes in Africa; and launch a new Chatham House briefing paper entitled Universal Jurisdiction: Africa's Hope by Dr Louise Arimatsu.
