Course Outline
Global events and legal developments continue to highlight the relevance of international law to various aspects of our lives. From dealing with climate change and environmental disasters, to promoting food and energy security; from protecting vulnerable groups to ensuring that telecommunication infrastructure is secured, international law provides the framework for States, international organizations and others to work together. This summer school provides participants a solid overview of international law, and the tools they need to undertake further research and study in the area. You will be studying at a world leading institute of international law research, whilst based in the heart of one of the world's most international cities.

The British Institute of International and Comparative Law is committed to equality and opportunity in the legal profession and to support greater engagement of under-represented groups in the legal profession.
In our efforts in this regard we are delighted to offer 3 scholarships for each of our short courses to participants from communities and backgrounds currently under-represented in the legal community.
Applications for training scholarships must be received at least three weeks ahead of the course start date (24 June 2024).
