Event Details

This event is organised in conjunction with the Law Commission of England of Wales, with the objective of examining the way forward for Product Liability in the UK. The Law Commission is currently planning a project to reform Product Liability in the UK, and this will be the chance to discuss this direct with Professor Sarah Green, Commissioner for Commercial and Common Law at the Law Commission.

We will be joined at the seminar by officials from the Office for Product Safety and Standards. The OPSS's recent consultation on Product Safety, includes an element on liability issues: Smarter regulation: UK product safety review - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Event convened by Duncan Fairgrieve, Senior Research Fellow in Comparative Law and Director of the Product Liability Forum, BIICL.

This is a closed meeting, open only to members of the Product Liability Forum (PLF). PLF members wishing to attend can register by emailing Duncan Fairgrieve.
