UK-Ukraine English Law Forum

Overview

The UK-Ukraine English Law Forum brings together the legal communities, firms, and institutions from the UK and Ukraine to strengthen legal and commercial ties, recognising the rule of law as a cornerstone for investor confidence and sustainable growth in both countries.

Backed by both governments and shaped by its members, the Forum provides a structured platform to address legal and regulatory barriers to growth in Ukraine, share expertise, and develop practical, market-led solutions that support sustainable growth and recovery. Drawing on the experience of both jurisdictions, including established legal approaches reflected in English law, the Forum turns dialogue into lasting reforms, partnerships and outcomes for Ukraine's legal environment.

Forum Objectives

The objective of the UK-Ukraine English Law Forum is to strengthen cooperation between the UK and Ukrainian legal sectors, by building lasting relationships between legal professionals, institutions and stakeholders, and creating a trusted network for dialogue and collaboration.

Facilitate the exchange of legal expertise and experience between the two jurisdictions, including approaches reflected in English law, to support legal reform and a more predictable environment for business and investment.

Create practical opportunities for cross-border legal collaboration - connecting firms and people in the UK and Ukraine to unlock new opportunities for legal and commercial activity.
