Consumer Protection Act 1984 26/1984

Article 1 (1)

(...) the object of this Act is the defence of consumers and users (...)

Article 2 (1)

The following are basic rights for consumers:

(a) The protection against risks which may affect their health or safety. (...)

Article 25

The consumer and user have the right to be compensated for the damage caused by the consumption of goods or the use of products and services, unless the consumer and user or their civil representatives have been fully negligent.

Article 26.

Manufacturers, importers and suppliers of products and services will be liable for their negligent actions or omissions unless they can show they met the requirements established by law and other cares and diligences demanded by the nature of the product, service or activity.
