Professor Tetyana Antsupova

Biography

Professor Tetyana Antsupova graduated from Odesa law school (Ukraine) in 1999. Between 1995 and 1997 she had been studying and successfully completed the Public Policy Programme within the cooperation of the University of Maryland (USA) and University of John Hopkins (USA) with Odesa State University. Specifically, part of her studies she did at the University of Maryland (August-December 1995).

Her academic activities and publications had been devoted to the Interstate cooperation within the European legal area, International Human Rights Law, but mostly to the Council of Europe Law and practice/procedures of the ECtHR.

Her PhD in Public International Law. She defended the thesis at the Kiev Institute of International Relations in 2003 and later in 2014 habilitated in Odessa (Ukraine).

Judge of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine (2019- 2022).
Judge of the Supreme Court of Ukraine (2017 - 2022).

Before 2017 - Head of the Department of International and Comparative Law of International Humanitarian University (Odesa); professor of the European Union Law and Comparative Law Department of National University "Odesa Law Academy" and the Department of International Law of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Visiting professor at Nicolaus Copernicus University in ToruĊ„ (Poland)

Board member of the Ukrainian Association of International Law.
