Qian Liu

Biography

Qian Liu is Visiting Fellow at BIICL. He majors in Intellectual Property Law and has achieved Distinction in the UK, mainland China and Taiwan. He served as Research Assistant in academic institutions in both the UK and China, including Queen Mary University of London, Peking University and East China University of Political Science and Law. Several projects he participated in were initiated or funded by the Chinese government and have had an impact on China's legislative and administrative documents, for example, the 'Outline of the National Intellectual Property Strategy (2021-2035)' and Article 45 on 'right to remuneration for broadcasting and communication to the public for producers of phonograms' in the 2020 Amendments to Copyright Law of China.
