Abhijeet Shrivastava

Biography

Abhijeet Shrivastava works as a Researcher in International Law and Dispute Settlement at BIICL.

Abhijeet has varied interests in public international law, and has published widely on contemporary topics, including dispute settlement, the application of international law in cyberspace, international criminal and human rights law, the law of international organisations, and the history and theory of international law.

Abhijeet also serves as a Rapporteur (South Asia) to Oxford Reports on International Law in Domestic Courts. Previously, he has provided research assistance to the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and Dr Penelope Ridings at the International Law Commission, and helped advise States on international law issues.

He holds a First Class LLM (international law) from Cambridge University and a BA, LLB (Hons) from OP Jindal Global University, and is admitted to the bar in India.
