Institute Research Fellow lectures on international criminal law in Ottawa

In the third week of February 2007, Institute Research Fellow Adineh Abghari
visited the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa (Canada) and delivered a lecture on 'Victim's Rights before International Tribunals and ICC' for students on the civilian protection course.

Prior to joining the Institute, Adineh has been involved in numerous research projects on international recognition of victim's rights and worked with Judge Georghios Pikis at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

Adineh's research interests include international law, humanitarian law and comparative law. She is currently a research fellow in public international law on the Human Rights in International Law and Iran project at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
