We need to talk about the Rule of Law
Last week saw an egregious attack on the rule of law and, particularly, the independence of the judiciary, in parts of the media, and by some politicians and members of the public.
We need - urgently - to talk about the Rule of Law and what it means in practice.
As a start, ahead of the Supreme Court hearing on the Article 50 case, the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law invites the Lord Chancellor to deliver a public lecture on the rule of law.
