Judge Koen Lenaerts elected President of the Court of Justice of the European Union

BIICL is proud to announce that Judge Koen Lenaerts, a long-standing member of the BIICL Advisory Board, has been elected by his peers to serve as President of the Court of Justice of the European Union for the period from 8 October 2015 to 6 October 2018.

Judge Koen Lenaerts has been a member of the Court since 2003, and was previously a member of the Court of First Instance from 1989 to 2003.
