Bingham Centre recommendations taken up by Joint Committee on Human Rights

The UK Parliament's Joint Committee on Human Rights (JCHR) has published a new report on judicial review and legal aid, The implications for access to justice of the Government's proposals to reform judicial review.

The JCHR makes several recommendations taking up suggestions made by the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law in the Centre's review of judicial procedures, chaired by Michael Fordham QC and which delivered its report in February, Streamlining Judicial Review in a Manner Consistent with the Rule of Law.
