Institute's Contribution to OECD Conference on Trade and Competition

From19-21 October 2005 Dr Philip Marsden and Peter Whelan of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law presented three papers at a special meeting of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Competition at the OECD, and at a conference hosted by the Centre for Economic Policy Research, both in Paris.

The papers assessed bilateral competition law enforcement cooperation in regional trade agreements, particularly between Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, the EU and Mexico. The papers are part of a European Commission-funded study.

Drafts of the materials are available upon request from Dr Philip Marsden.
