New Assistant Editor for the ICLQ

Sarah Zarmsky Joins the ICLQ as Assistant Editor

BIICL is delighted to welcome Dr Sarah Zarmsky as the new Assistant Editor of the International and Comparative Law Quarterly journal. She joins the team with considerable editorial experience, having been Deputy Managing Editor of the renowned legal blog Opinio Juris from 2022-2026.

Sarah will be splitting her time between the ICLQ and her roles as Lecturer at Queen's University Belfast School of Law and Fellow at the Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice at Queen's. Her research specialises in the intersections between international law, human rights, and new technologies, and she has been widely cited by prominent scholars and practitioners and referenced in international policy documents, such as the International Criminal Court Office of the Prosecutor's Policy on Cyber-Enabled Crimes Under the Rome Statute. Her new book, titled Digital Harm and International Criminal Law, will be published with Hart in November 2026.

We look forward to working with her.
