Marking the 75th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights, the 2025 Harry Weinrebe Memorial Event, titled "Reflections from the Strasbourg Bench", was delivered by Sir Tim Eicke KCMG KC, former judge of the European Court of Human Rights and member of Essex Court Chambers. The lecture was chaired by Samantha J. Rowe, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.
The Harry Weinrebe Memorial Event is held annually by BIICL to honour philanthropist Harry M Weinrebe, founder of the Dorset Foundation.
