BIIICL and the University of the West Indies agree collaboration
The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, and the British Institute of International and Comparative Law have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration in advancing international and comparative legal research.
The three-year agreement provides for joint events as well as opportunities for research and practical skills training. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to foster deeper engagement on critical issues such as decolonisation, constitutional reform and human rights, the rule of law in times of emergency, transnational crime, the law of the sea and international environmental law, intellectual property, and the legacies of UK decolonisation.
