Prof. Spyros Maniatis to Step Down as BIICL Director

Departure of Prof. Spyros Maniatis 

We wish to announce that Professor Maniatis will be stepping down as Director of the British Institute of International and Comparative Law on 5 September to take up a new position as Dean of a new school at the National Taiwan University, the School of Political Science and Economics. Whilst we will miss him, we wish him all the very best in this exciting new position and thank him for his dedication and leadership of BIICL. For more on Professor Maniatis' many contributions as Director of BIICL since 2018, please see our Summer newsletter .

We will be recruiting a new Director/CEO over the coming period. In the meantime, our three Centre Directors jointly will act as the interim Director/CEO.
