Kaiyan Kaikobad was a Professor of Law at Brunel University after being at the University of Durham for many years, and he contributed to many of the Institute's activities. As Professor Javaid Rehman has written: 'Those who met him over the years know that we have lost an extraordinary human being, a true and dependable friend, a great scholar and a man who was the embodiment of what it means to be a gentleman'.
