Event Details

This conference - jointly organised by the University of Birmingham and University of Aberdeen in cooperation with the Journal of Private International Law - is an annual event of considerable importance for academics and lawyers specialising in the field of private international law.

The British Institute highly recommends this event, which should find its way into the diary of all lawyers seriously engaged with the development of private international law in the domestic and international arena.

It features discussion of specific subject matters in contract, property, and family law, but furthermore reflection on matters of general interest including jurisdiction and enforcement, and the role of principles in private international law.

Participating speakers include leading experts in the field from a range of different jurisdictions, as well as the leading lights of the next generation of academics and practitioners.

Registration

Registration for the conference is possible until Thursday 21 June, either online (click here) or by completing and returning the booking form (click here).
