This event will provide an overview of important issues relating to cross-border insolvencies.
Speakers will highlight various topics such as the interrelation of cross-border assignment and insolvency law; the effects of insolvency on international arbitration proceedings; current developments on the recognition in the United Kingdom of judgments entered in foreign insolvency proceedings; the shortcomings of the Insolvency Regulation and potential remedies, including an EU wide harmonisation of bankruptcy laws.
