Session Outline

This open-access online course, hosted by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL), offers a focused introduction to the main legal and practical dimensions of the rapidly evolving field of corporate climate litigation. Bringing together leading scholars, judges, and practitioners from around the world, the short course provides a comparative perspective on how different legal systems are addressing corporate accountability for climate-related harms.

The course forms part of the Global Toolbox on Corporate Climate Litigation, a BIICL-led initiative that advances comparative analysis, capacity building, and the exchange of legal and scientific insights in climate litigation involving corporations.

Format and Audience

The course is free and open-access, designed for lawyers, academics, policymakers, and professionals interested in climate change law, corporate accountability, and litigation trends.

Places are limited, so registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
