Event Details

This conference provides an update on progress, challenges, and the road ahead for climate litigation. It will explore the role of human rights law and corporate due diligence obligations in climate related claims, examine directors' duties, deceptive corporate sustainability claims, and the rising tide of litigation against greenwashing and climate-washing practices. It will also look at the cross-border dimensions of climate law, focusing on trade, investment, finance, access to justice, biodiversity protection and judicial cross-fertilisation, assessing how legal frameworks interact across disciplines and jurisdictions to address global climate challenges.
