This webinar will focus on individual criminal responsibility in international law, including the interpretation of the intricacies of Article 25 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which raises a number of challenges. Speakers will also discuss relevant jurisprudence from other international courts and tribunals, in order to assess various issues such as fairness or procedural efficiency, among others. The panel will also address current developments, as well as the potential role of the upcoming Prosecutor on future jurisprudence.
