The four-day course will provide the theoretical knowledge and the practical know-how from some of the biggest names and leading practitioners in the field of international investment both in the region and abroad. The course will revolve around key issues, including:

  • General overview.
  • Developments in the second half of the 20th century and recent global trends.
  • The settlement and management of investor-state disputes and the procedures for resolving such disputes.
  • The conduct of investor-state arbitration proceedings, including initiation of such proceedings, constitution of tribunals and the challenges of arbitrators.
  • Awards, post-award remedies and enforcement of awards.

Course Registration Fees:

  • Early-bird (before 7th November): US$ 1600/per person
  • Standard (on or after 7th November): US$ 2000/per person
  • Discounted Course Registration Fees for STUDENTS: US$ 1100/per person

Conference Registration Fees

  • Early-bird (before 7th November): US$ 400/per person
  • Standard (on or after 7th November): US$ 500/per person

Entry Visa

Delegates can apply for an Entry Visa to Bahrain directly here. Hotels in Bahrain provide visa assistance at a nominal fee for guests who will be staying in the same hotel. You may contact the hotels directly for this service.


Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your registration, a refund of 50% of the fee is available if a notice of cancellation, in writing, is received by BCDR-AAA either by e-mail to aishaq@bcdr-aaa.org or on our fax number +973-17-511300, on or before 1 December 2015. We regret that no refunds can be made after that date. However, the registration may be transferred to another person of the same in situation or company at no extra charge.
