Event Details

International Adjudication Seminar Series sponsored by Temple Garden Chambers

As international dispute resolution mechanisms continue to proliferate, the number of actors being given access to these mechanisms continues to expand as well. From ad hoc arbitral tribunals to newly established standing institutions, the expansion of international arbitral and judicial fora raises important questions about the effectiveness and legitimacy of the emerging system of international dispute resolution. Included among the issues that will be discussed at this seminar are the composition of adjudicative bodies, the transparency of proceedings, and the ongoing problem of enforceability of judgments and awards.

The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception.

This event has been organised by Dr Andraž Zidar and N. Jansen Calamita, British Institute of International and Comparative Law

1.5 CPD points may be claimed by barristers and solicitors through attendance at this event
