As in the past the Eleventh WTO Conference will take place over two days (25-26 May) and is being co-organized with the Institute of International Economic Law at the Georgetown University Law Center.

Day 1 will address issues relating to dispute settlement, taking as its overarching theme: "Subsidies in Many Shapes and Sizes". Under this rubric will be panels addressing (a) US-China Trade Relations - Ongoing Disputes Over "Subsidies"; (b) China's "Indigenous Innovation" Policy'; (c) US "Zeroing": A Failed Litigation Strategy and Its Impact on the Role of "Precedent" in Dispute Settlement in the Trading System; and (d) WTO Disputes: A Year in Review and a Look Ahead.

Day 2 will address issues of broader policy concern, looking at issues arising under the theme of "The Global Financial Crisis and its Impact on International Regulation Inside and Outside the WTO." On this day we are considering panels addressing (a) The Doha Round: Current Prospects; (b) After the Financial Crisis; (c) Relationship between Trade and Finance

All cancellations must be made in writing via email to eventsregistration@biicl.org and be no less than one week prior to the event.

Payment for registration will always be required, and must be made prior to the event. If sufficient written notification of cancellation is received, a full refund will be given. If insufficient notice is given, payment for your registration will still be required.
