50th Anniversary Event Series

International Co-operation and the Modern Prosecutor

2nd June 2009

What is this event about?

This event will examine the role of the modern prosecutor and national prosecutorial services in ensuring a high level of international co-operation while upholding due process principles and the rule of law, particularly in the light of the emergence of new threats. It will also discuss the issues facing international prosecutors in ensuring co-operation from states and international organisations.

As part of the celebrations marking the Institute's 50th Anniversary year in 2008/9, we are pleased to announce a series of evening lecture events on rule of law themes, showcasing the broad scope of the Institute's work across a range of topical legal issues, inviting fresh thinking and debate.

Solicitors and barristers may claim 1.5 CPD hours through attendance at this event.
