In 2008 the Centre of European Law's traditional Annual European Law Conference will focus entirely on the EU Reform Treaty. Entitled 'Understanding the EU Reform Treaty' the conference will explore the key reforms which the new Treaty seeks to introduce, and will assess what those reforms may mean for the development of EU law and the European Union as a whole. It will also examine the consequences of the Treaty for the UK. Though taking a legal perspective, it will also aim to be informative for a wider, non-lawyer public.
