The Annual ICLQ Lecture this year will be based on the paper 'Judicial Review in the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy' by Professor Panos Koutrakos of City University. The paper examines the jurisdiction of the Court of Justice of the European Union in relation to judicial review of the Common Foreign and Security Policy and places the case law in the broader constitutional setting of the EU legal order, providing a critical analysis of its implications for both the EU's and domestic courts.

The event will also provide the opportunity to present the 2018 Young Scholar Award to the recipient, along with £250 worth of Cambridge University Press titles of their choice.

The lecture is being hosted at BIICL in Russell Square and will be followed by a reception generously sponsored by Cambridge University Press, who publish the ICLQ.
