HEURIGHT Project : Next Major Conference on Cultural Heritage

The main objective of this conference is to debate the key outcomes of the research stemming from the HEURIGHT Project, which considers the legal aspects of cultural heritage in the European Union. In addition, it will also gather new contributions addressing some of the major challenges cultural heritage governance is facing within the EU and in the global arena, including the illicit trafficking of cultural objects, digital access to cultural heritage, the European label initiative, as well as the regional and structural funds the EU devotes to cultural heritage projects.

The conference will seek to substantiate the axiological, political, and societal considerations, driving the EU's involvement in cultural heritage matters, both regionally and globally.

For more information about this conference please see the draft Programme.
