With the Rule of Law under threat around the world, and with multinational businesses increasingly looking to enter markets where the Rule of Law is uncertain, there has never been a time when understanding of and action to support the Rule of Law by business was more urgent. The Business and Rule of Law Programme at the Bingham Centre, and the Centre's Business Network, provide a central forum for engagement on the Rule of Law focused on developing understanding of and practical tools related to the Rule of Law matters of concern for business, including high quality and timely research and guidance on the most pressing Rule of Law issues; access to other business leaders working to promote the Rule of Law; and influence on the emerging policy dialogue on the relationship between business and the Rule of Law.
