Contact Anthony Wenton
Anthony Wenton is Research Assistant at the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law. He works across a wide range of the Centre's projects, with a particular interest in transitional justice mechanisms and rule of law capacity building.
Prior to joining the Bingham Centre, Anthony worked as Judicial Assistant to Dr Ganna Yudkivska (Judge elected in respect of Ukraine and Section President) at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Anthony has also worked as a Blue Book Trainee Legal Officer with the European Commission in Brussels, and, for several years, worked in regulatory compliance for major banking and financial services institutions.
He holds a BA in French and Hispanic Studies, an LLB, a certificate in French Legal Terminology, and an LLM in International Human Rights Law. For his LLM, he was awarded the John Lennon Memorial Scholarship, generously funded by Yoko Ono! Anthony is also a graduate of the United Nations Graduate Study Programme (Geneva) and has completed the Bar Vocational Course and been called to the Bar of England and Wales at Middle Temple.
