Internship - Private International Law
The Institute is seeking interns to assist with the development of the Private International Law Research and Events Programme. It should be noted that internship at the Institute are unpaid.
Requirements are a deep knowledge of Private International Law (specifically EU Private International Law instruments).
In particular, the intern will be expected to assist in:
- Developing new research projects in various areas of Private International Law;
- Finding and analysing literature;
- Analysing and summarising case law;
- Assisting with a series of events;
- Preparing seminar reports;
- Any administrative tasks associated with the above.
Formal requirements:
- Level of education: LL.M degree (or equivalent).
- Research and drafting skills: ability to analyse and draw conclusions in a clear and precise manner; strong ability to conduct research through electronic means and resources. Prior experience in research posts will be considered a benefit.
- Language skills: proficiency in English; possibly working knowledge of French, Spanish and/ or Italian; any other language is considered an additional asset.
- Familiarity with the legal system of the United Kingdom is also considered an asset.
