In addition to general membership, the Institute has a series of research groups, or fora, set up to examine specific areas of the law in more detail under the general auspices of the Institute. These Fora are set out as follows:
- The Competition Law Forum provides an independent forum in which the practical application of competition policy can be considered. The Forum identifies areas requiring debate and analysis, and produces leading-edge applied research and recommendations on the content, methodologies and application of competition policy at all levels of governance - national, European and global.
- The Investment Treaty Forum builds on the Institute's existing activities in the fields of public international law and international commercial arbitration. It aims to provide a serious depth of debate in a field of law which is rapidly expanding and in need of authoritative comment.
- The Product Liability Forum has been established to analyse and improve the conduct of policy and practice in the spheres of product liability, product safety and mass torts.
Each Forum's page contains full details on how to become involved in its activities. However, should you have any additional queries on these additional membership categories please contact the Institute.
