Project on Criminal Law and the Rights of the Child in Muslim States
The Institute is offering a number of internships for students who have a background in Human Rigths Law and are familiar with Islamic and Middle Eastern context.
The interns will interact closely with the rest of the project team. They will be required to conduct legal research and to support the team for the organisation of programme, the events and communication with external actors. Interns must be self-motivated.
Requirements:
- Level of education: registered in a degree programme or similar level in other countries (min. 3rd year law) or excellent final year LLB / MA or equivalent qualification).
- Preferred courses: public international law, human rights law, Islamic law.
- Research and drafting skills: ability to analyse and draw conclusions in a clear and precise manner; strong ability to conduct research through electronic means and resources.
- Language skills: English native speaker
- Computer skills: familiarity with Microsoft applications (Word, Access, Excel) and electronic legal research databases.
- Strong organisation and communication skills.
- Availability: full-time availability is preferred, but part-time is also accepted.
Starting date: as soon as possible
