Rapid Response Seminar - Assessing the Legal and Practical Effects of the Cancun Agreements on Clima

Date: 19th January 2011

Time: Not specified

Venue: Not available

Event Details

The UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico, adopted a package of decisions, dubbed the Cancun Agreements, on 11 December. This seminar will analyse the legal and practical effects of the package and assess what the next Climate Change Conference, to be held in South Africa in November 2011, could realistically be expected to achieve.

This is the first of a new series of events on international environmental law to be co-hosted in 2011 by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and the Government Legal Service Environment Group (GLS Env).

Sponsorship for this event has kindly been provided by Cambridge University Press.
