The Trial Chamber of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia issued the first judgment of the tribunal on 26 July 2010. The Trial Chamber found Kaing Guek Eav (alias Duch), former prison chief under the Khmer Rouge regime, guilty of the international offenses of crimes against humanity and war crimes. This event will bring together experts to discuss the outcome of the verdict.
