Event Details

The Law Commission for England and Wales, with the British Institute for International and Comparative Law, is organizing a seminar on the Law Commission's Consultation Paper Administrative Redress: Public Bodies and the Citizen.

The Law Commission is currently undertaking a project to review the law in relation to redress from public bodies for substandard administrative action.

As part of this project, the Commission recently released a Consultation Paper, Administrative Redress: Public Bodies and the Citizen. This paper sets out the Law Commission's view of the administrative justice landscape and puts forward some possible options for reform.

This event has been organised as part of our consultation process on this paper. We hope that you are able to attend this seminar and share any views you have on our ongoing project and the suggested reforms contained in the Consultation Paper.

The seminar will start with a short presentation by Kenneth Parker QC, the Law Commissioner in charge of the project, followed by the opportunity for general discussion of the issues raised in the Consultation Paper.

This is an invitation only event.
