The Institute is launching a new lecture series by the Presidency of the European Union. The aim is to provide a platform for each rotating Presidency to illustrate the programme for their six-monthly term at the helm of the EU. The series will start with a lecture by Finland's EU Presidency. A senior member of the EU Secretariat within the Prime Minister's office will focus on the challenges and priorities of the Presidency and explain how Finland is pushing forward the work of the EU on topical issues such as Treaty reform, justice and home affairs, competitiveness, enlargement and the relationship with Russia.
