Event Details

The Centre for the Study of Human Rights is delighted to announce its Autumn term events programme, brief details of which are set out below.

As ever, a wide range of issues will be examined during this lecture series, including human rights in China, refugee law and refugeehood, and the experience of human rights monitors in Iran and Uganda. To mark International Human Rights Day, we are delighted to be hosting Professor Manfred Nowak, the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, who will subject the state of contemporary human rights and its future prospects to critical scrutiny

A detailed abstract for each event can be found on the Centre's website at http://www.lse.ac.uk/Depts/human-rights/forthcoming_events.htm All of these events are free and open to all and require no advance registration.
