About the List

This email discussion list seeks to facilitate discussion of developments and themes in private international law including at a domestic, European and international level among those teaching, practising and studying the subject in the United Kingdom. The Private International Law discussion list is promoted and moderated by the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.

The subject matter of discussion is selected and developed by list members, who are able to contribute on any topic which they consider of interest to others. Wherever possible the Institute identifies issues of particular currency, which are then included in its programme of seminars, lectures and meetings. The list is moderated by the Institute to ensure a high quality of input.

The List is free to join and participate in, and is open to both members of the Institute and non-members. An email address is all that is required. To join, simply click on the above link and follow the instructions on the jiscmail.ac.uk website.

If you have any questions on the contents of this page or the private international law programme of the Institute, please do not hesitate to contact Jacob van de Velden at j.vandevelden@biicl.org.
