The Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law held its first formal event at
Hogan Lovells' London office on 15 March 2011.

The event saw Justice Stephen Breyer of the US Supreme Court lead a discussion on Courts and Democracy with Professor Ronald Dworkin QC FBA, Lord Lester of Herne Hill QC and the Rt Hon Lord Justice Sedley.
